Two Tablespoons was created by a couple of friends in 2012 out of passion for cooking and kitchen experiments. We are dedicated to making healthy wholesome vegetarian and vegan food from scratch, breaking the stereotype that healthy food is boring. Two Tablespoons is all about bright and rich flavors and unique concepts. Our menu is a world fusion of recipes and ideas. We avoid heavily processed ingredients, therefore we don’t use meat and cheese imitations. Our focus is on whole foods as a starting point for our recipes. We source organic and local ingredients whenever possible.
We started on the streets of NYC, serving at various food fares and street markets. The response from our customers was very positive and inspired us to seek permanent locations. In September 2015 we opened a booth at the UrbanSpace Vanderbilt food hall in midtown east, which is now frequented by many regulars who work or commute through the area. The second permanent location is in the works in downtown Brooklyn area and is slated to open in spring 2017.
